The park ticket is a published RMB 165, and it buys no ride inside the park
The operator's own ticket page prices the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park single admission ticket at RMB 165, a concession ticket at RMB 83, and an optional RMB 3 insurance add-on alongside them. The same sentence states what that price excludes: the in-park eco-shuttle, the cableways and the elevator. So the headline figure a first-time visitor budgets is the gate only, and every ride inside the park is a separate purchase rather than something the ticket already covers.

One ticket runs for four consecutive days, through any of five gates
The page states the main ticket is valid for four consecutive days and that it admits you at any of five named ticket stations — East (吴家峪), South (森林公园), West (杨家界), North (天子山) and Central (梓木岗). That changes the shape of a first visit: the park is not a single day you have to use up, and you can go in on one side of it and come out on another across several days on the one ticket.

Adding the eco-shuttle is a different ticket at RMB 236, and it still leaves out the cableways
The combined park-and-shuttle ticket is priced at RMB 236, its concession version at RMB 119, both valid the same four consecutive days, and an annual pass at RMB 310 that does include the shuttle. The page is explicit that even the combined ticket does not cover the cableways or the elevator. So there are two published entry prices to choose between at the gate before any ride is bought on top.

Each price is attributed to a named price document with its own start date
The page attributes the admission price to Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Commission document 湘发改价费规〔2024〕977号, in force from 1 January 2025 for five years, and the eco-shuttle price to Zhangjiajie Municipal Development and Reform Commission document 张发改价费（2025）33号, in force from 1 January 2026 for five years. That is what makes these figures checkable rather than a quoted rumour — each one carries the document that set it and the day it took effect.

Free and half-price entry runs on age bands, and covers the gate ticket only
On production of valid documents the page gives free single admission to children under 14 and to people aged 65 and over, along with visitors with disabilities and serving military personnel; and half-price single admission to young people from 14 to under 18, to people from 60 to under 65, and to full-time students up to undergraduate level. It says in the same passage that the concession applies to the single admission ticket alone — not to the eco-shuttle, the cableways or the elevator.

The official booking route is one named mini-program
The page names 张家界一机游 as the scenic area's own official ticketing platform, entered by scanning the WeChat code printed on the page, and says tickets, cableway and elevator rides, accommodation and meals are all booked there. For anyone booking online more than 10 days ahead it prints two administration phone numbers instead — the ticket management centre on 0744-5718833 and the visitor service centre on 0744-5712345.

The rides the park ticket leaves out have published one-way prices
On the same official site's booking list the Bailong Elevator is RMB 65 one way, the Tianzi Mountain cableway RMB 72 one way and the Huangshizhai cableway RMB 65 one way. That turns the main ticket's exclusion clause into something you can add up before you travel, rather than a warning you discover standing in the queue with a ticket that does not cover the ride.

The nearby cave and lake are their own tickets, not part of the park ticket
The same list prices Huanglong Cave at RMB 121 plus RMB 4 and Baofeng Lake at RMB 110 plus RMB 3, the second figure in each pair being the optional insurance the site sells alongside admission. Neither is inside the Wulingyuan main ticket, so an itinerary that includes them is an itinerary with more than one admission price in it.

Not everything on the official list carries a figure at all
For the two stage performances the same page declines to publish a price and says the price posted at the scenic-area ticket window governs. Read that as a limit on the list itself: where this operator has a fixed price it prints one, and where it does not it says so — which is also why no figure here should be treated as fixed beyond the day it was read.

What this source does not settle: This layer states only what the Wulingyuan tourism site's own ticket pages publish about one named place — the Wulingyuan core scenic area, which is Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It is not generalised to the other two places this answer names: Tianmen Mountain and the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, whose operator site did not respond when this pass tried it, so their prices and rules are could not confirm here rather than filled in from a third-party guide. Neither opened page mentions a real-name booking rule, a passport requirement or an identity check at the gate, so none is claimed for Wulingyuan; nor do they publish opening hours, a last-entry time, return fares or operating hours for the cableways and the elevator, or whether a visitor without a Chinese phone number, a WeChat account or a Chinese card can complete the official mini-program booking. The price documents themselves, from the provincial and municipal development-and-reform commissions, were not opened this pass — they are cited here by the number the page prints, not read. And the page's own notice governs the figures: prices and concessions change, and the commissions' current documents and the prices posted at the ticket windows are what you actually pay.
