Songpan has excellent Hui Muslim restaurants serving hand-pulled noodles, lamb skewers, and flatbreads (¥15–30/meal). Tibetan restaurants offer yak meat, tsampa, and butter tea. Budget travelers eat well for ¥30–50/day. The night market near the south gate is lively. 羌族酸菜、腊肉和豆花是特色美食，县城有多家川菜馆和藏族餐厅可供选择。
