Transport note

From Kunming: bus from Kunming East Bus Station (¥34, ~1.5 hours), minibus from Changshui Airport (¥45, ~1.5 hours), or local train from Kunming Station (¥15-20, ~2 hours). High-speed rail also available. Last bus back to Kunming leaves around 18:00. The park is also doable as a day trip.

Food note

Food stalls inside the park sell fresh fruit, cucumbers, and snacks. The town of Shilin outside the park has restaurants serving Sani Yi minority cuisine, including roasted meats, wild mushrooms, and local rice dishes. Bring water — the park is large and can be hot.
