High-speed trains from Huzhou to Anji High-Speed Railway Station take 16 minutes; also accessible from Hangzhou. The station is 30 km from the county seat — bus no. 208 connects them. Express buses from Hangzhou North Bus Station run every 15 minutes (¥36, ~1 hour). Within the county, minibuses serve major scenic areas from Anji Bus Terminal. Taxis needed for Dragon King Mountain.
Bamboo shoots (竹笋) are the defining local ingredient — stir-fried, braised, or in soup. Anji white tea is a must-try. Local restaurants serve Zhejiang-style cuisine with bamboo shoot dishes at ¥30–60 per person. The Baicaoyuan Scenic Area has several restaurants. Budget meals in the county seat ¥20–40.
